Privacy
The short version: what you plan here stays on your device.
Your plans stay in your browser
The calculators, sign-up sheet and checklist run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, choose or tick is sent to us or to anyone else.
What is stored on your device
To save you starting again, the site keeps your entries in your browser's local storage: guest numbers, units and any assumptions you edited on the calculators; the potluck sheet's details, categories and any names, dishes and diet notes you typed into it; and your checklist ticks and your own items. It also remembers your colour theme. This data never leaves your device. Use the reset or clear buttons on each tool, or clear this site's data in your browser, to remove it.
Page view counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and never receives what you type, choose or tick in the tools.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites, including our sources and the tools we recommend, are ordinary links. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
